Petite Gold Leaf Necklace

From petal to metal. This tiny leaf was organically cast in sterling silver from a live plant. 

Then carefully adorned with a layer of 24kt gold foil. This process is called Keum boo and is thousands of years old. Korean for attached gold. 

The process is done with heat and pressure.

The tiny leaf measures about 1/2" in length.

 I've paired this simply with a 17" gold fill cable chain. This is a sweet piece for layering or wearing on its own. Enjoy
