Keum Boo Necklace

Keum boo is an ancient Korean metalsmithing technique combining fine silver and 24kt gold. The term literally translates to attached gold. The pendant is approximately 1 inch in diameter and has a concave shape. Two layers of 24kt are permanently attached through high heat and pressure. This piece has been given a playful star pattern. A sterling silver cable chain is hinged directly to the piece. Chain measures 16" in length w/ a 2" extender. This is a versatile piece which looks great on its own or in a layered look.
